SOUND CHECK: SCHOOL OF SEVEN BELLS- Published by Brooklyn Exposed November 26

Sound Check is our new column delivering tidbits of information about and spotlighting artists from the music scene.

Who: School of Seven Bells
Genre: Indie rock – dream pop
Why they rock: School of Seven Bells’ members all met while on tour with other bands. They quickly left these groups behind and formed this ethereal electro group of dreamers. The band uses synthesizers mixed with guitar beats accompanied by smooth vocals to create their unique sound.
Interesting tidbit: Two of the original band members, Alejandra and Claudia Deheza, are identical twin sisters. Claudia left the band in 2010.
Where you can see them: School of Seven Bells will be playing Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 28.
